Panasonic has been making massage chairs for over 30 years now. Their latest technology platform is called the Real Pro Ultra series. The latest set of features is used in each of the chairs with the Real Pro Ultra designation. There are five models which constitute the new series by Panasonic.

Some of the advanced features included in the Real Pro Ultra massage chair line are very innovative. They have a new advanced three-dimensional body scan. This is able to create a virtual map of your back while also locating acupressure points. You also find the new Junetsu massage technique.

The quad style rollers are some of the most advanced group rollers available on the market today. Unlike traditional rollers that only move in two-dimensional space, the quad style rollers are able to move in three-dimensional space. This enables them to conform better to the curvature of your spine.

What makes the quad style rollers unique is it works in conjunction with the new three-dimensional body scan technology. Panasonic has developed a system to measure your back in three-dimensional space. In essence this system creates a virtual map of your back which can detect the curvature of your spine. The quad style rollers are then program to follow this virtual map.

As technology advances so do the massage techniques available. Panasonic is introducing its new Junetsu massage. Junetsu massage is a Japanese word for ultra fine kneading. The Junetsu technique uses a circular pattern and applies more pressure as it penetrates through the muscle tissue.

Most of the massage techniques which were part of the Real Pro Elite series of massage chairs are also incorporated into the new series. You can expect to find massage programs including shiatsu, Hawaiian, Swedish and also many others. This gives you a variety of different techniques to choose from.

There are quite a number of high-end models incorporating these new technologies. The Real Pro Ultra starts with the model number EP30003 and ends with the EP 30007. All of these recliners incorporate the same basic chair design but vary either in there features with some minor differences and price points.

For instance, the EP 30005 and EP 30007 are both made in Japan. The EP 30003, EP 30004 and the EP 30006 are made in China. Supposedly the models made in Japan are of higher quality. However, the warranty coverage is substantially less than those which are made in China.

One feature you will find in all of these massage chairs is the lower body stretching. The lower body stretching is accomplished by using the leg rest to stretch out the lower half of the body. This is a great way to get relief for stiffness in the lower parts of your body.

Some of the Real Pro Ultra massage chairs are equipped with and upper body stretching system. The upper body stretching system is good for elongating the arms and shoulders. This is performed by holding the arms in the arm massage while reclining the chair back.

There are many good features built into the Real Pro Ultra series. This is a solid technology platform and provides the user with a range of different features and massage therapies. Supposedly the EP 30005 and the EP 30007 are made in Japan which is of higher quality, but this is not reflected in the shorter warranty coverage given for these massage recliners.
